Located in the beautiful town of Doylestown, Curiosity Academy is a private preschool and licensed Kindergarten that has been family-owned and operated since 1965.

In the 1960s, Ellen Thomas founded the Curiosity Shoppe, recognizing the need for quality early childhood education. In 1963, the Curiosity Shoppe became licensed as a small preschool in her home on Dogwood Lane. In 1978, inspired by The Toddler Center book, Ellen expanded the programs to create a childcare center for children under the age of 3. By 1980, the Curiosity Shoppe and Toddler Center relocated to our current location on Landisville Road.​​​​​​
